IGCLA provides all delegates the opportunity to present their research work at the conference. If you have a research proforma that you would like to showcase this is your platform, as IGCLA offers the unique opportunity to showcase your work and discuss them with the subject matter experts from over the world! If you have no experience in research, don’t worry, because IGCLA is here to guide you and take you across the realms of research and innovation, because the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!

Research Poster Presentation


Indo German Convention of Lindau Alumni offers all delegates of IGCLA 2018 a platform to present posters on original research, single cases or case series on related topics at the conference. If you have performed a basic study in the topics of your interest, come showcase them at IGCLA in front of a crowd of experts, young scientists and researchers! If you are a first time researcher, come showcase your work here! Interact with the best subject matter experts from a plethora of fields! Delegates with an interest for research are given the opportunity to present their poster under separate categories

Abstract Submission Guidelines:
  1. Delegates are given the option to present their poster under separate categories for undergraduates, postgraduates, or under a special category for delegates from technical & natural science fields of study.
  2. The abstract should be brief, informative and should provide an overview of the research.
  3. Title of abstract must be less than 25 words
  4. Each abstract can have a maximum of four co-authors. In the event of multiple authors, 
one certificate including the names of all co-authors will be awarded. 

  5. The abstract should be not more than 350 words.
  6. Last date for submission of abstracts has been extended to 30th August 2018.
  7. The acceptance of abstracts will be notified through email on or before 10th September 2018.
  8. The Candidates whose abstracts are selected need to register for IGCLA on the website by filling in registration details online and by payment of the registration fee.
  9. Abstracts can be sent under any of the topics mentioned in the table below.
  10. Mention the category code of abstract on the top (the one best suitable in the given table).
  11. The submitted abstracts will be screened by an expert panel and subjected to plagiarism check by a Turnitin software.
  12. The presenter of the accepted abstract shall prepare a poster as per the guidelines and display on specified date and time.

Case Report Presentation


Indo German Convention of Lindau Alumni offers all delegates of IGCLA 2018 a platform to submit an abstract for presentation of case reports in poster, followed by an oral format. 
Recorded cases will be presented before a distinguished panel and audience, followed by questioning and referencing by the panellists. This is a unique opportunity for you to discuss and take back a feedback to further the scope of research and interact with experts who deal with them, every day!

Abstract Submission Guidelines:
  1. The abstract should be brief, informative and should provide an overview of the clinical/nonclinical case.
  2. The title of the abstract should be no more than 25 words.
  3. Title of abstract must be less than 25 words
  4. The acceptance of abstracts will be notified through email on or before 10th September 2018.

  5. The candidates whose abstracts are selected need to register for IGCLA on the website by filling in registration details online and by payment of the registration fee.
  6. Mention the category code of abstract on the top (the one best suitable in the given table).
  7. Format suggested for posters
    • Category code 

    • Title-should be descriptive and must contain the author’s names and affiliations. 

    • Introduction
    • Objectives
    • Materials and Methods
    • Results and Discussion 

    • Conclusion
    • Acknowledgements: cite the funding agency or the sponsor for the study(if any) 

    • References: A list of the references relevant to the work.

Thesis/Dissertation Presentation


Indo German Convention of Lindau Alumni offers all delegates of IGCLA 2018, pursuing studies of graduation(PG) and higher; a platform and opportunity to present abstracts and study of their PG thesis. The Thesis is more than a mere requirement, as it highlights your passion for your field of specialisation. Come showcase and exchange ideas in your research work with the best in your field!

Abstract Submission Guidelines:
  1. The abstract should be brief, informative and should provide an overview of the thesis.
  2. The title of the abstract should be no more than 25 words.
  3. The abstract should not be more than 350 words.
  4. Last date for abstract submission has been extended to 30th August 2018.

  5. The acceptance of abstracts will be notified through email on or before 10th September 2018.
  6. The presenter of the accepted entry shall prepare a presentation as per the guidelines and display on specified date and time.
  7. Mention the category code of abstract on the top (the one best suitable in the given table).

    • Description of the aim of thesis, methods used
